Mercury, the Messenger

This is a view I know you can see with your eyes closed- but it remains one of my favorite ones in the entire city.

Cloud Cover, 42nd and 3rd

I think a blanket made out of clouds would be the best one ever.

Sunday, August 2

only in seattle and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

this is a hard one to explain...but in the summertime in seattle, we are invaded...by pirates. in celebration of seafair. it is one of the city's oddest traditions, but clearly and ostensibly loved by all, young and old.

a couple of weeks ago, the pirates stormed the shores of alki beach and seized the key to the city in a well-orchestrated (not really) capture.

i especially want to dedicate today's post to a special pirate fan out there...well, at least a fan of the pirates of the caribbean ride at disney world. HAPPY 60TH!!! aaaaaargh.

Summer Evening, Madison Square Park

Even without a watch, the days pass.
