there's a new hotel a few blocks from my office and it has what seems to be a polar theme. the facade of the building is definitely impressive, with these beasts adorning the windows. i can't wait to check out the inside. this may warrant a trip to the bar for an icy cocktail.

it is quite rad. you should see the whole army of walrus heads...all lined up in a row. rather impressive.
we checked out this hotel one slow day at the office. the interior was surprisingly warm, using dark colored woods and beige to chocolate upholstery. nautical themes were strewn unevenly throughout... fortunately the lobby held a frosted (glowing) glass bar lined with stools which nods to a crispy cocktail.
it certainly was a fun exploration of our own. perhaps we can now be considered new honorary members of "the club."
and have our portraits taken for the lobby...
